Anything over 40 hours is synonymous with success. If you only work 40 hours and the average work week today is closer to 35 hours, all you will do is survive.
It is virtually impossible to get ahead and even more impossible to be a great financial success. You will never be highly respected and esteemed by your colleagues. You will still be mediocre if you only work the basic 40-hour week. Now, that might sound a little harsh, but you know it’s true.

If you want to call a self-made millionaire, call the office before normal working hours and after normal working hours. And here’s the key: work all the time you work. When working, don’t waste time. When you arrive early, put your head down and start immediately. When people want to talk to you, you apologize and say, “I have to get back to work.
Don’t drop off your laundry, call your friends, socialize with co-workers or read the newspaper. Work all the time you work. Decide today to develop the reputation of being the hardest working person in your business. This will draw your attention to people who can help you faster than almost anything else you can do.

Now it’s a completely different breed. An entrepreneur has a completely different mindset than an employee. Even though we all start out as employees, it’s the entrepreneurial people who quickly realize that “profits” are better than “salaries”. They delegate a lot of their work, they outsource, they have trainers, coaches, mentors, advisers… whew, that all sounds a bit complicated, doesn’t it? This is where the majority of “home-based businesses” fail and a large number of people see their dreams shattered. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Now, with the latest technology at their fingertips and the internet being the biggest marketplace in the world, anyone with a computer and an internet connection has the opportunity to run a six-figure business from home. This can be done alongside your normal JOB until you have doubled your normal monthly income…..then the day has come when it’s time to tell your boss… “I’m sorry, I have to let you go!”
